Submitted by

kgagne writes "The Apple II turns 30 years old this month, and the party is this coming July in Kansas City. The 18th annual KansasFest, to be held at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, from July 17 — 22, is now open for registration. David Szetela, founding editor of Nibble Magazine and a former manager at Apple Computer, will be the keynote speaker. Other events include hardware demonstrations of Apple II-compatible Ethernet and CompactFlash cards and USB 5.25" floppy drives, programming contests, emulator upgrades, and software unveilings. Is this what Apple meant when they said, 'Apple II Forever'?"
