tom66 writes "It seems a recent change has become apparent: on the footer of SCO's homepage there are a collection of text-based ads for SCO's so-called 'partners': "SCO Partners click here to get free Search Engine Optimisation and Internet marketing services via an online IT software services directory plus affordable website design provided by Top100 and the internet marketing company. " Is this an attempt to cover the costs now SCO has filed for bankruptcy? Or is this a just a security breach?" Link to Original Source
tom66 writes "Seems like a long time coming, as Microsoft today has axed it's Anti-Linux campaign 'Get the Facts', and Microsoft has replaced it with a new campaign, called 'compare'. This article touches up on why they may have done it, and the criticism surrounding Get the Facts." Link to Original Source
Tom O. writes "While shutting down a computer with Windows XP Professional on it (which, according to Microsoft, is a pirate copy), I noticed that it said 'Shut Down and install 2 updates' on the shutdown dialog. I clicked that, thinking an error would come up, just wanting to see what would happen; but, it installed these updates successfully, no complaints! And, I snapped two shots of it using my camera."
