Journal superyooser's Journal: Baghdad Dan 4
CBS Minister of Information Dan Rather recently informed the nation, "If the documents are not what we were led to believe, I'd like to break that story."
In other news, Mohammad Saeed al-Sahaf has informed CBS News that if American forces ever invade Baghdad, he would like to break that story.
It's heating up out there.

How much traffic are we talking here? I should certainly be able to host the master if we Coralize the site...

But, also if you consider that a site like that would be under near constant DDOS attack, it'd hardly be worth even the attempt.
It could be a cool idea if it were to get off the ground though. Each month/year update the site with a new "information minister". Obvsiouly if it happened quick enough, Mr. September would be Dan Rather this year.

A type of free CDN - basically an Akamai clone, but for any site. Just append ".nyud.net:8090" to the hostname, and your request is handled by the nearest PlanetLab server, which either has a copy in cache or retrieves it from another PlanetLab server which does.

Hm. Certainly a risk :-(
