I will be endeavoring to keep an online journal of my experience of being a part of Christo and Jean-Claude's The Gates project for Central Park.

The first installment is here, a recount of my experience at the training session for the installers, of which I am one. Enjoy.

No picture-taking was allowed. All of the images of the project installation are the property of the Artists. They had two photographers there, one was Jean-Claude and Christo's guy, Wolfie, and the other one was associated with the film crew. A guy has been working on a documentary of the project for 15 years. Part of the artistic statement is the fact that Jean-Claude and Christo have been working on this since 1975.

Ok this will sound odd at first. However, if you consider I have had about 20 White Ales since 4PM EST it won't.
