This makes me happy.

Long story short: boy goes missing, and Nancy Grace has the mother on the air, and Grace proceeds to berate the woman and strongly imply that the mother had something to do with it. The mother was so upset by the assault that she killed herself.

I don't know what the law says on the matter, but I do know that Nancy Grace is trash and she deserves to be held accountable.

I do not know the details surrounding the case, the circumstances of how the child went missing, the family dynamics, nor the characters of either the mother or the interviewer. So I can't say that I have or could form a solid opinion about whether the mother is responsible for the child going missing. Ultimately, I wasn't there and can only speculate, and there is barely enough information to do even that.

As someone who lives with a mother, and who heard the interview, it seems to me that the mother was so distraught over what happened (as any mother would be), and it was almost two weeks later and she was already beginning to give up hope, and she probably blamed herself for letting her child get kidnapped, and she just couldn't handle it anymore and Grace pushed her over the edge.
