It can't be used commercially without my permission, but other than that, spread it around! I'd prefer you send people to the web site at http://pudge.net/tunes/ [pudge.net] -- or at least to distribute the web site URL with it -- but do whatever works best for you.

Last year I posted [slashdot.org] just a brief demo. This is the actual recording, first posted one month ago today. So, this is a completely different version. Same basic idea, but I lowered it a whole bunch and changed the style a bit, added a bunch more instrumentation (drums, bass, electric guitar, background vocals), and recorded it using real mics etc. Now it actually sounds good.

It's not really my birthday, though. Maybe that's why I chose to do it in the mode of Johnny Cash: he was never a prisoner at Folsom, either!
