Journal pudge's Journal: A Thought on Cartoons 6

On the one hand, the riots over the Mohammed cartoons is helping many people to wake up to the serious threat to Western culture posed by mass immigration of radical Muslims.

On the other hand, some of the backtracking this week from some of the Imams in Denmark make me think that maybe the radical Muslims are waking up too, and realizing the old rules don't apply in the West.

  • got a link? haven't followed the story closely enough to notice that.
    • Don't have a link handy, but basically, some of them were saying, OK, we don't demand the government censor the paper, but maybe if you just promise you won't ever allow discrimination against us, and then grovel in apology, or something.
      • I'm worried.

I often write that George W Bush will be remembered as the President who _almost_ stopped the Crusades.

Clearly there are forces stirring this non-event into a furor. Clearly there are people really looking to get 72 virgins.

What worries me are the sane people in all of this. The Christians and Muslims who just want to get through their day.

I really think we're seeing the beginning of the Crusades except this time the Arab world doesn't stand a chance. They don't even manfacture cars!

          Dont think so?

In my lifetime, I've seen Los Angeles go from Hispanic minorities to about even-steven (~45% to ~45%) with Caucasian -- and the population demographics of public elementary schools is even more telling -- around 60% Hispanic to 25% Caucasian.

Two reasons -- Immigration and birth rates.

You may be right about a "new Crusade", but dont expect it to be

          • I have read a few pieces along these lines especially in regards to Low Western Birthrates. I don't disagree. However, I mention Arab world because that is where the fight will take place. The actual war and bombs (so to speak) will be waged on the Middle East. You can't really fight a Religion. You can fight a country, or an army. That's what will happen.
