Just remember, it is OK to go nuts about campaign finance problems that don't directly implicate DeLay because DeLay is evil. And we will ignore far worse problems by the Democrats in WA and Senator Maria Cantwell, because they are good.

He's about as blindly partisan as they come, seeing republicans as the only threat to the Constitution, and democrats as the only way to protect the Constitution.

Kind sad, really, because when he's not talking about partisan issues he has some interesting things to say.

While I don't deny that what the WA democrats or Cantwell did was against the rules and they should face punishment for their violations. The violations were fairly minor.

From what I can see what DeLay is accused of is far more serious and intentional. In addition his attempts to avoid facing any sort of sanction aren't helping him make his case (as they say "it isn't so much the crime as the coverup")
