Journal: Welcome to war, we hope you enjoy your stay

The first day of the new war seems like a good enough occasion to start my journal.

I want to put in the record that I have been against this war. I don't believe the Bush administration gives a damn about the liberties of the Iraqi people-- they certainly don't seem to care about ours. This has always been about oil.

However, now that we have started, I hope we follow through on our promises to rebuild Iraq, more so than we have done in Afghanistan.
