perfessor multigeek's Journal: Open sourcing my information mgmt system

Oh, by the ("It has also not escaped our notice") way, if anybody is curious, that whole schema-ish thing that I'm building? Yes, I am aware of and watching such things as DMOZ and H2G2. And yes, I'm also aware of things like Vignette and projects like Dave Winer's.
So?
So, I'm thinking of open sourcing my whole system, possibly including the hundreds of database entries already designed to work with it, and either try to take on a role more like that of a moderator/Linus T. person, or just hand it over and shift over to some other project that I've got in the wings.
Any thoughts?
