Reading this it occured to me that http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn7073 1. The closer to our biochemistry a species is the more dangerous it is as a repository or incubater of destructive disease. 2. The disease that can achieve a steady state in one species can be so destructive it destroys its own hosts in another without eliminating it from the world in general. 3.
