Journal mercedo's Journal: Two Options 3

So here is the picture of Takoyaki. This food is very common anywhere in Japan, so like famous Ramen shops, delicious Takoyaki shop tends to attract many customers. So naturally I wanted her to have the one in one of the delicious Takoyaki shops in Kokura. Used to be lots of customers but we were unable to find them other than us. It was just over 21 o'clock. Many people were on the street. The taste turned out not as good as it used to be. The price was still the same. I don't visit there any more. On the other hands, the Ramen shop we visited over midnight was a full of customers in spite of the late time we arrived. And the taste was just the same as Kokura Ramen's, very exact and delicious one. We were satisfied with it. I intend to visit again whenever I am hungry. That Takoyaki shop -they used to use the most expensive oil and flour and very fresh Octopus and cabbage, they didn't use the rest of fried materials to fill the stuff of the ball. Everything changed from high to ordinary, the price was still 4.5 dollars though. There are two options for all.

  • Until I realized why I was so confused. I think it’s more common to spell tako with a ‘k’ in English. At least that’s how I’m used to seeing it.

And yeah, great restaurants often stop being quite so great over time. In fact, that’s true of a lot of things. Enjoy them while they last.

    • Reader's confusion is an author's responsibility. Tako has nothing to do with taco, tacos, etc. so this time I used takoyaki to specify the food, that's more kind to American readers.

I thought the case was so limited to this shop, I guess that was not the only one.
