The same could be said for almost any "ism". Most isms are born from a single part of what is already born into human nature. Obviously, human nature itself is far more complex than any single 'ism'.

Oh, you shed light on the market in feature of capitalism, there are so many demands, thus so many supplies. Because there is a difference in value between seller and buyer, the difference generates the viablility.
We need to have a healthy social strata in order to have capitalism flourish fully. The essence of capitalism shoud be built on it. But how to have a healthy society, that's the question.
In terms of diet and exercise kind of health, routine maintenance, that is purely up the efforts of the individual members of society and there should be nothing more done for it. A people who are unwilling to keep themselves fit are not worthy of greatness. (Which doesn't bode well for the USA...) Issues of health that go beyond the control of individuals, such as chemical waste being dumped in drinking water, does need to be addressed in some other manner, though the exact nature of how to deal with will
