Journal mercedo's Journal: Nostalgia

For the first time in my life, I tried tasting Shochu, made of barley. Here, the island of Kyushu is a home of many Shochus, probably more than 90% of all Shochu are produced here. The taste was similar to that of vodka with a bit of sweet flavour.

Why did I taste this traditional distiled spirits? So many times I've been trying to adopt Western value in my life and around me, so sometimes I feel nostalgic looking back on our past culture, not all but probably some of them are worth reviewing.

Now I taste Shochu again.
