Journal mercedo's Journal: Three Type of Characters 3

They are manic-depressive, paranoiac, schizophrenic.

I am not a mani-depressive at all, I don't show any change in temperament every day, or rather I am always too confident to deal with anything. I am rather euphoric. Optimistic is the better word.

I am paranoiac. Worse word for it is megalomaniac, I always believe I succeed in.

Schizophrenic is hard to understand. This person shows a lack of integrated personality. Integrated disorder is the better term for it.

I happen to have a very strong 'ego', in my case ego is stronger than super-ego.

    manic-depressive - Guardian
    schizophrenic - Idealist
    paranoiac - Artisan.

You're missing the fourth, the Rational.
    • Sorry for the late reply, I was thinking about the meaning of your comment.

First off, this classification is based on a traditional way in modern psychology, i.e.,it's not my invention.

And the second, I was talking about the three classification of the rational people. I regret some of my description in schizophrenic was vague, as if I were talking about patients of the disease.

van der Hoop liked to associate classic types with Jungian functions, and Keirsey associated the types of men with his four types.

The standard case of manic-depressive is Plato's Guardian the MBTI's SJ, and other names throughout a great deal of writers throught the ages.

The others work as well. But most always identify four types, not three, regardless of their names.
