Journal mercedo's Journal: Fish Story 3
As I've been working in a fishery section in a department store, oftentimes I am asked by a customer about fish.
A writer doesn't know about fish well.
Today I was asked by a middle aged lady, 'Can I eat this fish in raw?' She was pointing out a pacific saury. 'No' I said with strngth, because I thought she was asking whether to be able to eat it from a head as it is in a raw. She asked again changed the expression. 'Can I eat this in sashimi? Sashimi means sliced fillet in rawfish. So i said 'It's OK, you can eat it in raw I mean in sashimi.' She asked me again, 'What did you thought when I said whether I could eat it in raw.' 'I thought you were asking whether you could eat it from the head without cooking.'

Eating raw fish has been deeply rooted in tradition, and faith to some extent( regarded as sacred ), so it is not going to change in a day or two though, we will face a lot of 'fish already cooked and packed' in marketpla
