In 1582, when Mitsuhide Akechi was ordered to attack the enemy, he didn't go fighting against the enemy. Instead he said 'My enemy is in Honnoji.' -a lodge located in Kyoto. He attacked his 'enemy' within his side.

This time usually because the opposition party of Liberal Democratic Party is Democratic Party of Japan, people tend to think that the enemy of the LDP is DPJ, but the reality is different. Mr Koizumi seemes not to fight against DPJ. His enemy is those who oppose the privatisation of postal services within his party- conservative body. His real enemy is within his party, not outside the party. he doesn't care if the candidate of his party were defeated by the DPJ but he really cares if his candidates were defeated by those who are opposed to his privatisation bill.

Now his real enemy is 'in Honnoji', within his party.
