karldavidson writes: I hear about Google so much in the new nowadays; that most of the stories are just pure hype. Not everything they do is successfull. What was that whole virtual world with avatars thing all about? But sometimes something comes out about the skunkworks which reclaims there place as one of the coolest companies on the planet. They have in production today 12V servers which you can fit 1,160 of in a single shipping container, which has self contained HVAC. Three phase UPS? not needed, 12V battery built into each server.
