7 Inches of snow is enough to bring this whole fucking country down. (7 inches measured on my parents terasse) Airport closes, bus lines cancelled (Note that our government wants us to take the bus in the context of their "mobility" campaign). The police advising people to stay at home if you don't have to leave the house...

I was one of the stupid people on the road today. Our fridge was empty and I needed to go grocery shopping. Getting out of the garage was not fun: I was completely iced over and I only got out after the third attempt. Over twohundred HP plus five year old snow tires do this to you. However, when on the road everything went smoothly thanks to Audi's Quattro technology.

Things then annoyed me:

• An Audi Quattro before me stood in the middle of two lanes (climbing a quite steep hill). One lane was full of cars, the other empty. It took him 10 minutes to realise that the second lane (while more snowy) was free and that he fucking could pass all cars. You've got the fucking tech: USE IT! Once he realised I could pass all those lamers in the first lane
• A Golf GTI tuned like in "Pimp My Ride", spinning with his summer tires in the middle of an intersection. Money enough to add stupid spoilers, but no money to buy winter tires in a country where it does snow in the winter. Fucktard!
• Driving behind an SUV, which for once has an advantage on the roads. On a fucking straight road it loses control and crashes into the ditch. Fucktard... Where did you learn to drive?
• Much, much more idiocy on the road. Damn, I prefer to drive on the snowy small roads instead of standing in the queue with a bunch of idiots that drive 5mph and can't get up the hill

The caddy at the grocery store was harder to get trough the snow than my car. When I was finished shopping, I called my dad to know if he needed a drive home. After all, it's "on the way" (okay, 20km off the way, but who cares). He takes the bus to work, so with cancelled bus services he was unable to get home.

7 inches of snow.... Pfffff....
