Voting's a near thing (Score 1)

This is one instance I would've liked a ranking rather than a vote. Books (including ebooks) only marginally beat out radio in my, um, book -- for anyone with a functioning imagination, books have the best picture and audio of any medium.

Big Media's way of handling SF is generally to dispense with plot and characterization, and just spend everything on FX. There are a few exceptions, but not often enough to tempt me away from my library.
