Comment Big deal. (Score 1) 82

After reading Tardiveau's review, I can hardly guess why the book would be considered "spellbinding." So far to me it just sounds like a crybaby account of how people on Wall Street are greedy and unrelenting in their quest for closing a big deal. Wow--talk about a blinding flash of the obvious--in my opinion, someone's gotta do their job. There's no doubt that there are most likely interesting sections, but I highly doubt it is any more "spellbinding" than Glengarry Glen Ross, Barbarians at the Gate or even the movie Boiler Room.
