Hey, thanks for the explanation, very helpful!
Three weeks ago I did a reservation booking and immediately received a message from the "host" to pay for the room within the next 12 hours with a link leading to a booking.com clone website asking card details. It look really legit, except one strange message: "If you don't remember the sum to pay, just enter 350€". Even Google chrome detected this as scam and shown the red warning screen about the site being a phishing danger.
I've reported this issue to customer support (cloned site, screenshots) and their answer was "If you are not comfortable about entering your card details you can try to contact the property directly using their phone number". I wonder how it could have helped?
Lucky I could cancel the reservation without any penalty and I'm really thinking not to use booking in the future. They take the commission but can't even make a simple check about a property which is obviously a scam
Very unprofessional.
Recently I've joined truth social and x to read on the comments and educate myself about social media. Boy I had a shock!
It felt depressing just going a couple of hours over those political posts and comments. I cannot imagine visiting these platforms several hours each day.
Blocking these platforms would would be like cutting cancer from a body. I feel sorry for those parents who need to introduce these platforms to their kids.

ÃZn my current latest few experiences is for example a task that would have taken probably 5 ours of coding, testing it took about 2.5 hours with Claude AI. It could have been faster, but I wanted to do a thorough code review to make sure all looks good. And the best news was that I only used prompts. So all in all was a win. Now, the code review activity prove to be a pleasant experience since I discovered not only it was perfect, it followed the same code style, variable naming, etc. In a way was like reviewing my own code.
FYI, a lot of other vendors do the same for similar models: Dell XPS, Lenovo yoga etc. And, you can actually change the battery, but it's just not a remove & replace 10 second job.
We OTOH we need to credit Apple for starting the trend
"Have you seriously never heard of polymarket"
No.
It's called pure Ramonium!

When big tech complaints to me it looks we're on the good track.
Dear Google, we've seen the alternative... corrupted politicians bribed by big tech in government contracts with millions of licenses for text editors and paying am arm and a leg for "cloud storage".
So fb will turn my account into zombie account. I hope my zombie avatar will not like or follow zucks posts or account.
Here's another idea for fb to present to their investors. For a small fee I can pay while alive, my zombie account would get the option to post some cute AI slop.

And IIRC they've even started cinnamon while all other distros keep crying how bad gnome 3
I'm using it daily for several years and I'm very happy.
You're such a bullshiter who obviously never used Mint, Debian, Ubuntu nor Fedora. Reading the Internet about these distros is not using them.
Using Debian or Ubuntu out of the box sucks as user experience. I've used Fedora 6 years before moving to Mint. While not perfect, the cinnamon user interface is probably the best tradeof between simplicity and usability.
How would you react if the bank would take $120 millions from your account to your detriment... by mistake?
Also, I would be cautious about "untraceable". I would say "hard to trace for someone who is not determined to look it up".
But maybe that's just me...
