Windows Live Hotmail launches: what's up?

javipas writes "Microsoft just announced the availability of Windows Live Hotmail, its sucessor to the veteran — and obsolete — MSN Hotmail. AJAX has been the base of its new design, who promises to be more clear and efficient. Its capacity — 2 Gbytes — and its features — spam control, Outlook connector — seems to put a threat to the current favourites of most people, Gmail and Yahoo! Mail. Some made comparisons about the three, and although Live Hotmail wasn't bad at all, it was behind Yahoo! Mail and Gmail."
