Media Rights Technologies and BlueBeat.com have issued cease and desist letters to both companies and to Adobe Systems Inc and Real Networks — which produce the Adobe Flash Player and Real Player respectively — for actively avoiding their X1 SeCure Recording Control, which they said is an effective copyright protection system.

I guess DRM companies have gotten so used to suing their customers that suing potential customers seems like a good idea."

HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Fully Broken

gEvil (beta) writes "According to an article at BoingBoing, the processing keys for the AACS encryption scheme used by both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray video discs have been extracted, and a crack has been released. What this means is that there is now a method to extract the copy-protected content of any HD-DVD or Blu-Ray disc out there. This is different from Muslix64's previous crack, which only extracted the volume key for each disc. This new method bypasses this step and allows anyone to extract the data without first requiring the volume key."

Fake orgasm seems to be mysterious thing to me. Everyone knows that people fake orgasm and at the same time everyone denies the fact that one of her or his partners has ever faked orgasm. Why does it happen? Perhaps we all want to be unique, we all do not want to recognize the fact that our partners might deceive us. Did you never pretend to achieve orgasm?
