Can't say I've ever heard of the Euler partitioning scheme. However, I did discover the formula for MBR partition numbers when I was six years old. I'm still cranking on the GPT formula and putting my PowerBook to work on the Apple Partition Map formula.
I've always thought the SecurID system was interesting. If you're not familiar with it (and are too lazy to click the link or google it), it involves a little keyfob receiver that displays the current numeric password. The numeric password changes every 60 seconds (which might be configurable at the transmitting end), and is meant to augment your existing credentials.
I'm not so sure about the article's multiple mentions of "uploading" without a single mention of downloading. It reads like the lead guy has the two terms confused.
But then again it's Australia, that crazy place that prefers winter when us normal people have our summer, and swirls their toilet flushes backwards. Oh yeah, and waking up an hour too early instead of an hour too late. What will they think of next?
Personally, I find that a "Double Irish", followed by a "Dutch Sandwich" actually is pretty taxing.
Not to mention the mess that needs cleaned up before everyone can put their clothes back on.
