+ - Is Dell EPP Discount Program a Crock?

Submitted by JaSla
JaSla (1073124) writes "So I received an email from my home office with information regarding employee discounts through Dell. Our company recently switched to Dell within the last last year & being one of the few not owning a laptop I'm thinking this maybe a good time to purchase one. I wanted to see what kind of discount I'd be getting so I brought up the employee discount page & the main Dell page. I selected the Inspiron e1705 and picked the exact specs on both, however, after drudging the plethora of options I got an identical price for both. The employee side was $1358 for the unit & $320 discount with a grand total of $1038. Average Joe consumer was $1288 for the unit & $250 discount for another grand total of $1038. Has anyone else experienced this Dell BS?"
