People of the world rejoice! After approximately six months of negotiations, lobbying and pretty smart manoeuvring, I actually land the project of my dreams. Not as chaotic as I wanted to be, but turns out I have to do research on a square lattice of "individuals". Heck, they're even allowing me to program the local beowulf cluster! Yeeeehoooooo.

Now only to wade through articles from four disciplines, MPI stuff, Java/C/C++ crap....
