I am very happy with it so far. I have the wireless up and running. (It was simple. Plug in the card, go to SETUP screen click Internet Wizard. Then choose wireless LAN, add IP addresses and boom, I'm online.)
Another feature that I really liked is the handwriting recognition is WAY better than the Palm "graffiti." Not only do you not have to learn to write all over again, you can teach the Zaurus how YOU write. Every letter and symbol can be changed. It also supports MULTI-STOKE letters! Do you don't have to draw the top of the five backwards then start the body. You can do it like I've always written it: draw the body, lift stylus, draw top. It will recognize it as a single character. I had to increase the default from 500ms to 600ms, but it is adjustable from OFF to about a second.
I bought earbud headphones to carry in my pocket, in case I want to listen to MP3s or watch an MPEG clip. The Zaurus also includes a voice memo record function, but there is no internal microphone. However, using the "if it's a speaker, it's also microphone rule" I used my earbud headphones as a mic and it sounded OK. The large condenser microphone that came with my PC sounded better of course, but I really don't want to carry it around with me. Sharp sells a small mic that doesn't have a cord, just an angle, so it's facing you when you hit record. The Zaurus only has one 1/8" jack, the mic plugs into the same port as the headphones, which I thought was a pretty good idea. They should be selling them in some of the office supply places soon, you should go down and check them out.
