Ok, so several of my female journal readers have heard of my legendary good looks (maybe not as legendary as LadyGuardian's breasts) and have been begging for a picture. So, I decided to invent the Guess the TechnoLust game. I have posted 16 pictures on the linked page. 1 of them is me, the other 15 are not. ;-) Here's how it works: Go to the linked page (before reading any responses), look at the pictures, guess which one is me. Get the number beside the one you think is me, and come back here. Post a reply to this journal, but don't put the number of your guess in the title. Tell me which one you think it is, and if you have reasoning, why you think it is the one you picked. If you can't make up your mind, you can say, I'm pretty sure it's X, but it may be Y.

BONUS ROUND: Girls (well, I guess guys too, but that'd be a little creepy) if you want, you can rank the pictures in order of looks, in addition to guessing which one I am. Don't worry, I won't be mad if you rank me dead last. :-)

  • i know from your kitchen pictures that you are a dark haired white guy (with somewhat hairy arms as mr howell pointed out once). you could be a couple of the others, but i also know you've lost some weight. i can't remember if you said you had a beard or not. anyway i'm probably wrong, but if you're offended by my guess, you shouldn't have invited people to play the game.

    Interesting game. #1 seems to look familiar (isn't that the guy from that 70's show?), but I don't think thats you :) #13's arms aren't hairy enough-- same goes for #9. #5 looks too old (it could be the facial hair). #15 actually looks like someone I know, so I don't think that's you :)

    I'm going to guess #8, #3 second.

  • I'm going with #3 based on a previous journal entry Here [slashdot.org] and also the picture from your kitchen where we saw your hairy arm, I tried to match up the arm in the pic to one of these pics and came up with 3
  • Well, based on your hairy white arms, and the dark brown hair reflected in your microwave...

    Process of elimination

    Arms not hairy enough: 3,9,10,13,14
    Wrong skin tone people: 1,7,12,16
    Hair not dark enough: 5,6

    This leaves options 2,4,8,11,15

    Face shape on 4 seems wrong.
    Forehad on 8 seems too big.
    Number 11 suffers from the same forehead issues, but that could just be the haircut.

    It must be number 2 or 15, unless my logic fails me, which, of course just isn't possible. :)
  • I think I've seen #2 somewhere else before, so that one's out. I'm going to guess either #3, mostly cause it's funny, or #15 where the sleeves are hiding the arm hair, but I can tell that that is the picture of someone with hairy arms.

  • You shoulda warned us. We coulda gotten 15 slashdot guys to have their pics taken and then everyone guess who the /. aliases are.
