Spy der Mann's Journal: Blue Security gets DDOS'ed

Today I learned in various blogs that bluesecurity.com, a community that consistently fills opt-out requests to spammers' websites, has become a target of a massive DDOS attack by angry spammers . It seems they also null-routed the website by hacking the BGP peering points.

Right now Blue Security Team members are working to get the site back up and maybe content distributed so it can stay up. In the meantime, you can download their Blue Frog software via Sourceforge.

Let the SPAM wars begin.

Yeah, there was an article [slashdot.org] about the possible DDoS and the emails [slashdot.org] that Blue Frog users were getting from various spammers. There was also an announcement [slashdot.org] by Blue Security.
