Fun fact - Google tried to recruit her and she turned them down after meeting their team.

RedRecidivist writes: I'm coming back to IT after some time away. As a junior member of the tinfoil-hat brigade, I deeply mistrust Facebook, LinkedIn, et al. However, all of my old IT colleagues are telling me I simply *must* use LinkedIn to get a new job, and my old boss went as far as saying that he would mistrust a would-be IT employee who had no "digital footprint".

I really don't want to, but it looks like I need to bite the bullet. Should I?
