The worlds smallest violin plays for the labels.
They did something they knew was wrong, and set aside the monies they would need to pay just in case they got called on it? How is it this kind of corporate behavior is allowed? I look forward to the day when these labels are less relevant in what becomes popular. It is coming, with success stories such as pamplemoose, we should start seeing more music acts starting up without needing labels in the first place.

I just tested with my kindle case and a Fluke 73III meter. I've had a few restarts, but I figured they were due to the new software or the fact that I dropped it a while back. I have tested the hooks as well as I can. They are NOT connected as far as I can tell in my Kindle3 Case. I scratched the paint off and I was able to get a connection between two points on the same hook, but never anything across the hooks. (What I am trying to say is that I verified that my meter was making a connection to the metal) Maybe there are some that conduct, but judging by the picture mistake (guy doesn't know how to use a meter), I have NOT seen any evidence that it is a problem yet.

I didn't know this system existed until I recently traveled in the states. I found the entire concept absurd. I though t at first it was a joke, a play on how ridiculous security practices were, but then I slowly realized that the voice on the intercom was serious about "code orange". Also, in airports, if you just sit near the first class lounge, you can get free wifi.

Congrats to team Germany. I'm part of team Ontario-BC (we got 4th) It was a great experience, but there were problems for the contests. Team Germany even lost power for a while from the grid. And yeah, they did kinda just pile the PV panels on their house, they didn't even have a solar thermal system. I hope next year they put a limit on PV size, because it became partly a competition on who could put the most panels up for the net metering part.

It is masked but always present. I don't know who built to it. It came before the first kernel.
