+ - Freep web voting? Weblog Awards: Best Science Blog

MonsterSound writes: Think Progress has a posting about how some right wing sites are promoting mass voting for the site Climate Audit which is leading to win "Best Science Blog" on the Weblog Awards (voting ends tonight). The Climate Audit site apparently is a Global Warming denial site posturing as a site of science. Freep promotion comes via sites such as Free Republic: "Please Freep this Poll. Vote for Climate Audit. Fighting Global Warming nonsense." Think Progress happens to mention that the current second-place contender is Bad Astronomy Blog. Global Warming denial aside, if the centre left jumps on the pole (re:Think Progress), isn't it like two wrongs make a right? How can it be wrong to promote voting? And isn't that what this post is doing?
