There are certainly gamers who would buy it such as professional/high-end CSGO players. It will definitely be subject to diminishing returns but you do gain a very small amount going from 144 to 240-odd hz, so maybe there's some very marginal edge that you can gain going to 500. I personally doubt it but I think there'll be enough willing to try taht it could be a viable product.

Not every device running 10.3.2 will be using APFS, and I suspect the same is true for 10.3.3 when it is released soon. With APFS being 64-bit only, the 32-bit devices currently running iOS 10.x almost certainly won't have been switched across. These are also the devices for which 10.3.3 will probably be the final compatible version of iOS: iPhone 5, iPhone 5C and iPad 4. See: http://iossupportmatrix.com/

Seconded. It was the first OS that I ever used. I was probably about 10 when we got an Archimedes and I remember seeing windows 3.0 at my uncle's house and wondering how the hell these guys were the market leaders. Elite on the Archimedes was the first game that I got really really into. The secondary school that I went to were still using Archimedes for the Sibelius music package when I left in about 1997.

Comment Finally Solved! (Score 1) 84

I'm glad that scientists have finally solved that pesky nature/nurture debate that headline writers seem to like so much. I mean there was me thinking that most people with any sort of intelligence and/or access to publised studies realised that most matters were "a bit of both".
