webGL + HTML5 Audio = Web Strobe Tuner->

Submitted by
Hunterdvs
Hunterdvs writes "This is a pure HTML5/Javascript/webGL strobe tuner I wrote for my former employer Miso Media. The official version uses Flash for audio-in, but you can preview the pure HTML5 version on my website. You can upload files and view their dynamic stroboscopic output in real-time. Everything is done on the client. It makes for an excellent visualization and tool for musicians."

Comment: Crackdown city tours (Score 1) 346

by Hunterdvs (#28996797) Attached to: Finding New and Unintended Ways of Playing Games

In the game Crackdown for 360 you can ride on top of cars around town. Certain highways spawn more of certain vehicles, which will have different AIs controlling them as they drive around the three islands. The interlocking highway and freeway systems make for a really random and enjoyable tour around the surprisingly detailed city.
