Ah I see...a card carrying member of the the "Macs are virus free" club. I somewhat agree with you until that line I quoted. Pluck a number out of the air and write an equation that predicts the number of Mac users that still adhere to the idea that Macs can't/won't get attacked by viruses...it's still absurdly high. As an example I asked 4 people I know who have Macs about their virus protection and 3 of them insist there is no need. Not that 3/4's of Mac users still believe that but way too many still do. As mentioned above, complacency is the problem.

I don't see one reference to Oregon Trail anywhere. Surely that would be a modern age scenario if the game was made today

I have had nothing but a NIGHTMARE with sound in Ubuntu forcing me to go through hell to find the problem at each upgrade. And each upgrade from 8.04 (to 8.10 and now 9.04) have caused me to have to figure out why I get NO SOUND each time. Unfortunately each of the 3 versions caused a different problem so it wasn't as simple as just replicating what I did previously to resolve the issue.

Yeah because a guy who wants to breed giant rabbits to end hunger, shot 38 under par in one round of golf hitting several hole-in-ones in his first attempt ever, kidnapped the South's top Actress and Director who made an even better reality show with a car chase through Vienna to escape, despises everyone taller than him (so pretty much everyone who has made it through Kindergarten), made rainbows spontaneously appear upon his birth, doesn't piss or shit, made the entire country quit smoking because he had to..well you get the idea...needs any help looking crazy! ;-) Just sayin ;-)

That is the fault of the student however. No amount of coursework is going to make you master any particular language. Any serious CS student should be programming on their own because they like too and that is what will lead to mastering said language.

..of where I DO NOT want my tax dollars going. Seriously, I don't care how innovative and sophisticated the site is going to be I just do not see how they can justify $18 million being spent to tell us where our money is being spent...maybe they are showing by example lol, see this shiny new 2.0 (isn't that term a little dated these days) version of our website! It does all kinds of cool things, you can even SEARCH and get GRAPHS of where the money went! lol. This is just another example, on a larger scale, of the whole $1000 hammer that can be bought at Home Depot for $1.89. Please....I will take a cool Million and save you $17 million to put in another politicians coffers. Hire me!
