Kewellest Gear Shift Knob EVER!

Comments Filter:
  • how exactly are you going to make a gear shift knob out of this? a bullet is sort of pointy and not very knobbish.
    • Well, right now all I have on the gear shift is the 0.5" threaded steel sleve from the inside of a broken plastic gearshift.

      This is fatter and smoother.

The idea is to get the old junk off, drill out the bullet nose, thread. If it will not take a thread I will drill it out a little more and glue the steel sleve inside, then screw it on.

TA-DA! Sooper kewell, K-RAD shift knob.
  • I hope you're mounting that sideways, to form a T shifter, not up and down. Grabbing for a quick shift (you do have a man's transmission, not a wussy automatic, right?) could get that round through the palm of your hand otherwise.

    • Going to be up and down, primer end up.

If the sloppy setup I have now has not gobe through my hand in six years or so this sure won't.

Yep, I have the guy tranny not the Leftist.

Waste not, get your budget cut next year.
