GMontag's Journal: Libertarian Bonding: Reason Gathering

The Reason get together was interesting. I can not remember a single name, including those of the "big shots" and writers I met, but it was fun.

Mostly I did sit at the bar like a mushroom and speak to whomever stopped by, was not a bar fly.

Everybody was very nice, even if we did not agree, as expected.

I babbled on about the hybrid thing with a few of the writers. When mentioning that it was The New Republic some writers asked, in a rhetorical way, "did you know you were part of the research?" Seems the reputation of that magazine is on the mark.

I departed after 3 Martinis, before 8:00. The place was slightly crowded, not packed, at that point.

Saw a fellow who resembled Ezra Klein with a beard and was going to stop and say hello, but did not see him when I was leaving.

Anyway, was nice and everybody, especially the Reason workers, was nice too.
