EponymousCustard writes: Redhat developer Matthew Garrett provides details of how Microsoft require that UEFI secure boot is a requirement of conforming to the Windows 8 Logo program. The side effect is that "A system that ships with only OEM and Microsoft keys will not boot a generic copy of Linux" (or other unsigned operating system for that matter). I think he is right to suggest we should be concerned.
