DanHess writes "Being a digg user I tend to stumble across many odd/peculiar sites, but this one in particular I thought I should share. http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn16882-yeastpowered-fuel-cell-feeds-on-human-blood.html Supposedly, this new device can strip glucose in our blood, by means of living cultures of yeast bacteria. The output is a measly 40 nanowatts of power, but with enough advancements in this field the possibilities are near limitless."
