I've come to the conclusion that Sony hates me.

Not me personally, but me as a customer.

If they didn't hate me, why would they have the audacity to sell me a PlayStation 2, without a doubt the worst console for usability ever.

Your response is close-minded and selfish. In my country most people can't even buy two PS2 games if they took their whole salary to the CD shop. The article highlight lots of valid points that affect many people on different levels. Most products suffer from usability and accessibility issues and one sometimes has to wonder how much time these companies really spent on better design strategies.
