Journal BlackHat's Journal: you'll dance to anything. 2

Bunch of mindless ranting and flaming.

Link : Let's play "what if" and say they get it killed(licence fees) and the BBC has no money to produce new content other than news and a bit of sport. Where are they(ITV/sky etc) going to get content? Why they will have to shell out real bucks to produce it. ie. "Please make us spend more money in the hope that we might make some money at some later point down the road" (note I don't say MORE money here). This is a Win for who? No! What they need is the BBC to think it is toast and sell it's content to the others so that it will be paid for by slightly smaller fees and cut their (ITV/sky etc) costs-to-produce at BBC(rate payers) expense. Link Oh look ITV is in a bit of a fix right now. How odd.

Link : Word in Gastown coffee shops is upto 35 to 36 range by end of Sept. I am thinking by end-Sept downto 27 and a jump to near 40 in Dec but no one believes me (as usual).

Link : US has held some of them so long now that some no longer count as children.

Link : Sell crazy somewhere else Kofi. We're all fed up. You are flapping your gums like an old woman. Time to; shut up, get off your ass and get to work.

Link : Hemo' Homo' they all are godless heathens anyway. Right Liddy? (yes I know she is long gone but the stench lingers Link)

Link : Who translates the questions and the answers he asks expecting the answer; "Mr. A. Yahlt"

Link : Only reason I can think of is they owe all their other suppliers and need a new line of credit to make chips to make the money to pay the other fabs they have already over committed to.

Texttoon:
Fumetti: A from-rear-view of a long line of UN marked vans and cars on desert road. All are flying the French flag(comp'ed in over normal blue and white).

  • BSkyB has had it in for the BBC for a long time now. Ironically, they probably produce the least home-grown content of the three.

To their credit, ITV has been raising its game of late with regards to making good prime-time drama shows than stand up to comparison against the BBC's best. But the fact that both they and the BBC are locked in a ratings war, and are engaging in tit-for-tat mimicry of one anothers 'big ideas' (eg. Pop Idol vs Fame Academy), means that they are increasingly at one another's throa

System checkpoint complete.
