Erm, you aren't exactly 100% correct yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OS_X. Forgetting 10.0->10.1 because it was a free update, they have released updates pretty much yearly since then. The major exception is Jaguar, which will have had almost two years (though, Tiger was moved forwards, so was less than a year after Panther). The current cost of the OS is $129 (and if wikipedia is right, has been since at least 10.1). So 2-3 years is pretty far off the mark. P.S. I like active development of my software/OS and am very happy with my MBP.I love when people lie and claim you have to pay "every year" even though new versions of OS X come out about every 2 to 3 years. Kudos for silently jacking up the price to $150 as well.
