I am a geek, computer class, middle management. This in many ways, defines who I am. I also play piano, but mostly, I hook my board to my computer, and Cakewalk it.
After my scramble to find a job where I might continue to support my family, and pay for my coke habit*, I will probably lose my middle management badge. I may end up going into consulting, or maybe into more of a broad specialty - like project management, security or process management. Fine with me, but I'll miss this place (a little). I've been here for more than 5 years. I wan't really that attached to the "middle management" badge anyway.
As Mercedo says, 'My trek continues'. I wish my search were as romantic as his.

*I drink at least six Diet Coke cans per day. This is an expensive habit, but one that I never-the-less feel the need to keep up.

hmmm... i know i do define myself by what i do, more than who i think i am... which when i get right down to it, the "who i think am" is someone who does stuff. so, i'm not sure if that actually is a real definition. because then you get into the whole self-worth thing being measured by what you do, and is that an accurate definition.
anyway, with all that nonsensical, and meaningless noise out of the way, i define myself as a simple person who plays music,

How do you define yourself?
I define myself as a writer. But to be a good writer we need a mask. Masks cannot generate money. My real name can come up with what little money I can keep up with my daily necessities. That's enough.
