If you believe you have an IQ above your shoe size, and like open world sandbox games, I beg you to try this game. Its free. The only problem is that all games seem like two dimensional shadows after playing (and understanding) dwarf fortress. Download the lazy newbie pack to get half decent graphics and sound.

Hell, I like to make things run on WINE, that's a game in itself!, but untill Joe Sixpack can drop in DVD / Download-and-play-with-one-click, LINUX gaming will struggle. (Remember even WINDOWS gaming is too hard for a lot of people, with DX updates, various runtimes, licensing, etc,etc .. thus, IMHO, console sales)

I am still waiting for a Europa ocean-going mission. That's the best chance of finding other life in the solar system. We need some sort of easy way to melt through the ice layer, though. (Maybe slowly, though radioactivity?). I suppose that would make the probe more of a submarine than a boat though.
