At the end of the day, he created and manages the largest open source project ever. More than 20 years on, it is still going strong. I am not about to find faults with his management style. People have been free to fork it and run with it. Nobody has done that. Perhaps a little bit of screaming every now and then is needed for this job.

He gave us Linux and he gave us git. Maybe we should stop nitpicking and say thank you for once.

Are you joking or just high or low quality drugs? If what you are saying is true then how come Macbook Pros are shipping with Intel CPUs?

If you switched off LTE and 3G connectivity and only used EDGE or slower, you would get a lot more mileage out of your data caps. It is not entirely clear to me why people use 3G or LTE.

I generally like Amazon. I am a Prime subscriber and I am supposed to be able to watch their Prime videos as well. However we're an Android family and do not have any iOS or Amazon devices. I have tried them, but I did not like them.

Netflix supports Android devices well. And I like them for it. Amazon is pulling these shenanigans in order to prop up support for their mostly uninteresting platform. Android has the largest market share and my family has 4 Android tablets and 4 Android phones. None of these devices can play Amazon instant video. Damn you Amazon!

No sir. I am dead serious! Obama is incompetent. Take for example this business with Putin and ISIS and Taliban. It is getting out of control. Some low level govt. employee accidentally connected a computer to the Internet and exposed it to malware. If that isn't the reason to impeach Obama then I don't know what is.

I agree with others. I cannot recall reading any story on Slashdot that made less sense.

Additionally I have never understood the point of cell phone insurance. The phones do not cost that much. Just insure it yourself. If you lose it or damage it, buy another one. In the end, you'll come out ahead. Insurance companies understand this, so should you. Only stupid people pay for phone insurance.

Also, if you cannot live without a phone for a day or so, then keep an old phone around for emergencies. If you do not have one, get one off of Craiglist or eBay. Plenty of really decent options for $50, for a backup phone. With T-Mobile and AT&T, you can swap out the SIM and you're ready to go. With Verizon and Sprint, you have to go a web page to register your new phone. Done.

Lastly, I know other people have said it, but it is worth repeating. Don't be so damn stupid!

I agree with the other poster. uTorrent is malware. In the instance you cited, Google actually was doing the right thing and protecting your ignorant ass.

Chrome is my primary browser. Why shouldn't people be using Chrome if they value their privacy? Can you provide some concrete reasons, other than "Google is evil"? Some of us need evidence and not accusations.

One has to wonder if Donald Sterling would have received this much money for his team without a scandal? It appears to me that he greatly profited from the scandal.
