.223 isn't a military cartridge. 5.56x45mm NATO is a military cartridge. .308 isn't a military cartridge, 7.62x51mm NATO is a military cartridge. The whole idea is fucking stupid anyways, since god only knows how many popular, common cartridges have been used by the military at some point. On top of that, the politically motivated could just direct military procurement to outlaw every new replacement round. What? The military made a spec for a rifle cambered in .247, gave it a designation, and had a single unit produced, and kept for special purposes? Fuck you for not having 1000.00 laying around to start reloading.

Well the good news is that we can't reliably make all plastic cartridges, let alone all plastic weapons,. On top of that, people with access to a CNC mill have been quite capable of machining a rifle parts out of billet for years(Specifically the controlled part of the weapon). Yet the world hasn't fallen apart.

No, reputable breeders would likely need to move out of the city.

"Pet Stores" which actually sell larger animals generally get their "purebreds" from puppy mills which are about the most horrible thing you can find. The animals are rarely actual purebreds. The Animals are treated terribly. Conditions are awful. They rarely receive the health care they need.

Reputable breeders don't sell their animals to people who will resell them. Some breeders actually make you sign a contract to give/sell them the dog back if you can't take care of it.

It would be nice if we could eliminate puppy mills and get more people to adopt or buy from good reputable breeders that actually take care of their animals.

This isn't the way to do it, and people still ignore shelter pets which need homes so they can get a "purebred" dog which is safer than some shelter mutt.

No, the premise of abortion rights is that women are people first, incubators second. They have the right to control their bodies. They have the right to a safe legal medical procedure. They shouldn't be forced to have the child of someone who raped them. They shouldn't have to carry a pregnancy that can kill them. This may shock you, but pregnancy can kill you. A lot of stuff can go wrong. There are many women who don't have access to the medical care needed to ensure a healthy and safe pregnancy. A situation that is only going to get worse as religious conservatives continue going to great lengths to defund planned parenthood. It's especially appalling when you consider that the US has one of the Highest rates of maternal mortality in the developed world. Also, don't feed me crap about the rape exception, at the current rate, that is going to disappear.

Abstinence only sex ed has been working really well. It worked so well. Kids stopped having sex, getting pregnant, and spreading STD's.

Then please fucking tell me when, where, and how Christians have faced systemic oppression in the United States. What terrible things need to be corrected?
