I was going to mention that it was John Lithgow that did the shooting, but then it occurred to me that your dementia has progressed further than mine, thereby validating your point even further.

Actually you make some good points. I'm just overly sensitive to proposed solutions of anthropogenic global warming; they always seem to reek of a thinly-veiled global socialist agenda.

If politics could be completely stripped from the debate I think people would find that many of us "deniers" are not as closed-minded as it appears. It's just that I would rather live in a hot free society than socialist one.

No dude you're just falling for the AGW propaganda. Do you really believe we're sitting in some "magical temperature sweet spot"? Does it strike you as odd that the only apparent consequences of a warming trend seem to be bad, if not fatal?

1) Lookup on the IP and call the ISP. If they're a smaller company they may be willing to give an address "to the police". With an address (and potentially even a heads-up as to when the criminal is home) you've done most of the hard work for the local law enforcement.

2) Expand use of the honeypot. Send yourself some nude pics that are apparently from some girl. Then use your imagination to get the guy to meet you somewhere. "Hey stud, I was thinking of you the other day and snapped a couple of pics for ya. I can't wait to see you at the orgy conveniently located in the state to the East of your current location! See you there!!"

the multiple market crashes and panics that happened in the 19th and early 20th centuries, taught us that unrestrained capitalism is not a sustainable economic model.

Bullshit. What you're implying is that the natural economic business cycles are able to be avoided if we can just tweak the formula. I find it interesting that you blame "unrestrained capitalism" rather than "pure Socialism" on the market crashes. You realize Socialist countries experience these crashes as well, right?

Comment "Sure we'll let you gamble..." (Score 2, Interesting) 148

"...if we get a cut!" I've never understood this logic. Either we have the ethical/moral/legal right to gamble online or we do not, but the debate should not include whether the government sees revenue from the activity. The only justification for this is if all of the tax proceeds went towards Gambler's Anonymous or something.
