Yep, my thoughts exactly!
Welcome to the Divided Police States of America where you are guilty of anything the gestapo can think up against you, until you can prove yourself innocent .. which isn't going to happen.

If you're an American, probably best to find yourself a remote hole to crawl into until the big meteor or comet that's headed our way hits the planet and resets the game back to start.

Falling "back to debian" translates to falling back to stability.

From time to time I give the latest release of Ubuntu/Mint another look @ to see whats happening on the bleeding edge. But every time after a few short weeks the system seems too unstable, and/or some feature/s I use gets squirrely and I end up returning to the latest Debian, currently Wheezy.

Ubuntu/Mint is what you get when you take Debian Sid, polish it somewhat, slap your name on it as yours, and throw it out there with great fanfare and media hype as the latest and greatest.

What planet are you from? General human nature makes us all selfish self centered pricks. Here, on earth, you put two people within 100 yards of each other and you're going to get some form of confrontation. Theft, argument, fight or death. That's just the way it is, was and has always been. Will pretty much be the same on mars as well.

I always wonder why M$ refers to their business centers as a "Campus" when it's nothing more than a factory and/or business center and/or sweat shop for programmers.

The image that comes to mind, of an M$ programming group, or "campus", or whatever you may wish to call them, is the scene from Meet the Robinsons, of the future world of Doris the Bowler Hat.

Not sure how old you are, but I remember a time when commercial passenger aircraft fell from the sky almost weekly, and the industry claimed that flying was still safer than driving. Kind of like when smoking was considered perfectly safe and didn't cause lung cancer.

Those were such fun times, seems Boeing must want to relive them again ..

Funny seeing the subject of gut bacteria in a /. forum.
Just last week I was reading an article on the Mercola.com site, link here:

Gut bacteria has much more to do with overall health in general that most people think.
Weight loss being linked to having all the right bacteria in the gut is also a bonus

Political discussion is an activity for fools. It's like arguing which brand of anal lube or who's servant of satan is better.
Personally, I prefer the ostrich approach and find my world a much better place than that of those pissing and moaning over a world barreling down the rails, out of control, and no one competent at the wheel. Life is good!
