I have a feeling your asking for the wrong person. I know from experience you'll get a lot who are just unqualified even with a very good description. However I'm having no trouble with new hires and encryption. Key I think is they must know unix/linux. As long as it has that in the description I generally don't have a problem. If I ask for a Windows person, forgetaboutit! They're morons generally speaking. This goes right along with the general windows user - they're a moron too. I know, being captain obvious here. I bet I go through 100 windows applicants to find one that's any good.

Don't comment about stuff you know nothing about.

PKI is everywhere. You use it all the time and you don't even know it, obviously.

I set this stuff up all the time. From simple web site to ldap/dap authentication to some really big stuff.

When I hire even tier-1 type people (deal with idiots on the phone), they have to show me they can deal with at least a web server pki. They're a dime a dozen.

Clearly you've never been to Vegas (max bet, spin, max bet spin... Ding ding ding!). It's stupid to buy just one ticket. You have just one change to not only get the jackpot, one change to get every other combination as well. In Maryland one woman didn't get the jackpot, she got the 1M other prize. It's stupid to not buy at least $20 at a pop. I often buy $80 - $100 when I buy them. I think I didn't win something about 5 years ago.

Understand that the $100 to me means very close to nothing. I'll never miss it. I probably do this 3 times a year or less? Something like that.

You're talking out your ass. Read the latest UN report? Says they are more sure than ever man is causing GW, yet admit they have no idea why it's not warmer now given the CO2 levels. They can no longer defend their models, it's been over 15 years. Statistically impossible to believe them anymore.

Ignorance we can fix, stupidity is forever. Question is - which are you? Look up Maurice Strong sometime. Get mad at being fooled.

I have to disagree on this one. He didn't threaten the other kid. Make you disappear? Come one. How about what I used to hear - kick your ass, beat you up, take all your money... and so on - now they're threats. Almost never carried out. Make you disappear is right out of a David Copperfield show. A trick.

I suppose it also goes to show that you don't have to have a brain to be a principal. I bet she used the one she has now.

Because you didn't say that. Check your own post.

Either you're a raving dammfool lunatic right wing nutjob, or you're just a raving dammfool lunatic nutjob. There's insufficient evidence to decide between them.

You're way out of touch to the point of ignorance. Not that this is bad, ignorance we can fix. Stupidity is forever. I'm not to the right, I consistently test right in the center. Open your eyes. Better yet, listen to the horses own mouth - "dreams from my father" Obama will read it to you himself. Right after 9/11 they imposed an ADIZ, then changed the name to Special Flight Rules Area. For 10 miles around DCA, there's no flight for almost all but a very special few. Between that and about 20 miles, you can go there if you ask - Mother May I (Follow rules). Of course this only applies to GA aircraft - something not used in a terrorist act anywhere in the world. The aircraft that were - big commercial jets continue like before.

Even so, we're not "at war" anymore. So no excuse. They should eliminate it.

Used to be able to tell which student's code I was looking at towards the end of a semester, in the 1980s. No need to look at who submitted it. From time to time I'd find one student's work turned in by someone else. That would result in an inquiry and usually an action against that student. Ye old dumpster dive.

Years later I would do code reviews. Hardly any time I could tell you who wrote it. Even if they had departed the company. Certain people do certain things predictably.
